Choosing the appropriate corrosion inhibitor on the basis of the process conditions is important guarantee to ensure the smooth construction safety.
ZX-C1-01 acid corrosion inhibitor is composed of home-grown composite pyridine quaternary ammonium salt as main ingredients, a certain amount of synergists and surfactants. It has good dispersibility in HCl and mud acid. It has a good corrosion protective effect in high concentration HCl, mud acid and other organic acid corrosion environment. It has wide range application for various kinds of acid. It can also be applicable for acid cleaning pipeline work.

Application
Site Application
It can be used in oil well acidizing fracturing work process at the temperature of 60 - 90c, in 15 - 20% HCl and high concentration mud acid.
Test condition
15% HCl or mud acid, N80 steel, 4h, 1% addition
Classification per temperature:
High-temperature type (160-210℃) : such as YTY-10, F2146, with a corrosion inhibition rate exceeding 98%.
Medium and low temperature type: Contains imidazoline (IS-129) and organic amine (ET-105).

Storage
ZX-C1-01 acid corrosion inhibitor should be stored in closed containers In a dry environment. The expiry date is 2 years from production date and can be extended for extra 1 year after a successful testing of the physical and chemical index.

Safety and handling
First and foremost, safety is the top priority. The acid washing corrosion inhibitor has a certain corrosiveness. When using it, protective glasses, gloves and clothing must be worn properly to avoid direct contact with the agent and cause harm to the skin or eyes. At the same time, the usage site should be well-ventilated to avoid inhaling the gas of the agent.
Secondly, it is of vital importance to accurately control the soaking time, temperature and concentration of the pickling corrosion inhibitor. The soaking time should not be too long, generally no more than 30 minutes, to avoid corrosion reactions on the metal surface. The soaking temperature should be controlled between 20℃ and 50℃. Both excessively high and low temperatures will affect the cleaning effect. The concentration should be determined based on specific circumstances and is generally controlled between 2% and 10%. Both too high and too low concentrations will affect the corrosion inhibition effect.
In addition, the storage and handling of pickling corrosion inhibitors also require attention. It should be stored in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place, avoiding direct sunlight and high-temperature environments. After use, the metal surface should be rinsed with clean water in time to avoid residue of the agent. Meanwhile, the discarded pickling solution should be properly disposed of to prevent pollution to the environment.
