Hydroxypropyl starch ether ZX-SC-02 is hydroxypropyl starch ether (HPS) which is a white fine powder made from natural plants. Its molecular formula is (C6H10O5) n and ZX-SC-01 is a starch substituent ether produced by the reaction of hydroxyl groups in starch molecules with reactive substances, including hydroxypropyl starch, carboxymethyl starch, and cationic starch, etc.
Hydroxypropyl starch ether (HPS) ZX-SC-02 is a white fine powder made from natural plant starch through modification, hydroxypropyl etherification and spray drying. In its molecular structure, the hydroxyl group is replaced by hydroxypropyl, featuring good water solubility, high solution transparency, strong acid-base stability and controllable viscosity. Its ice-thaw stability and gelatinization performance are superior to those of the original starch. The pH range of the product is 8-10.5 (aqueous solution), and the viscosity span is 500- 20,000 mpa ·s. It is suitable for dissolving in cold water.

Application range
Hydroxypropyl starch ether ZX-SC-02 can improve the performance of dry mortar based on cement and gypsum. It has a very good rapid thickening ability, and a very low addition amount in building materials It can achieve high results such as improving the material's own anti-sagging ability, having good lubricity, improving the operation performance of the material, and making the operation more slippery.

Storage and Transportation
Hydroxypropyl starch ether ZX-SC-02 should be stored in a ventilated, cool and dry environment. Storage period is generally one year. It can still be used after the inspection.
Hydroxypropyl starch ether ZX-SC-02 is non-dangerous goods. In the process of transportation, it should prevent the sunlight and rain and should not be transported with spontaneous combustion, strong oxidant, strong acid.
Safety and handling
Wherever dust or melt fume is produced, provide the proper exhaust ventilation. After handling, properly wash your hands. Put on gloves and appropriate safety gear.
