General information

 

The oil-gas separation defoamer ZX-XP-03 is a chemical reagent used in processes such as delayed coking, oil-gas separation, oil-water separation, asphalt plant defoaming, and BTX extraction defoaming. This product is designed based on the water production characteristics of condensate oil wells and the requirements of gathering gas processes. It is particularly suitable for oil-gas separation in the oil production process dominated by natural gas.

This defoamer can quickly eliminate foam and maintain long-lasting foam inhibition even at low concentrations. It has high-temperature resistance and is suitable for a wide range of oil products.

The oil-gas separation defoamer ZX-XP-03 has the characteristics of fast defoaming, long-lasting foam suppression, low dosage, good stability at high temperatures, and good compatibility with solvents.

The defoaming rate can reach ≥ 95%. It has a very good foaming-inhibiting effect on both heavy and light oils, and is a highly efficient defoaming agent.

Application

 

Site Application

The oil-gas/water separation defoamer is mainly applicable to:
- Delayed coking, oil-gas separation, oil-water separation;
- Defoaming in asphalt plants, defoaming for emulsified asphalt, defoaming for asphalt, defoaming in BTX extraction, defoaming in vacuum distillation;
- Transportation of crude oil or refined oil;
- Defoaming in other crude oil extraction processes.

 

Usage Method
The oil-gas separation defoamer ZX-XP-03 can be added after the formation of the foam or incorporated as an anti-foaming component into the product.
The addition amount of the oil-gas separation defoamer is usually 0.1% to 0.8% (i.e., 1000 to 8000 ppm), and the specific amount is determined by the customer through experimentation based on the specific circumstances.
For some specific processes (such as delayed coking), the recommended addition amount can be as low as 10-50 ppm.
The addition methods include directly adding the foaming liquid or diluting it before adding. When using it, it is generally recommended to first dilute the oil-gas separation defoamer with petroleum solvents (such as kerosene, xylene) at a ratio of 1:10 to 1:30, and then use a metering pump to add the diluted liquid to the foaming system.
In this way, the oil-gas separation defoamer can quickly disperse into the foaming system and better exert the defoaming effect. When used in high-temperature processes such as delayed coking, steam can be injected at the defoamer injection point to prevent high-temperature residues from entering the injection point and causing coking.

 

Package and storage

1.This product is non-toxic and non-flammable or explosive.
2.Store it in a cool, sheltered place and keep it sealed.
3.Common packaging sizes include 1kg, 25kg, 200kg, and 1000kg, and it is packaged in plastic drums or iron drums.
4.The shelf life is 12 months (or one year), and there is no obvious stratification.
5.Storing beyond the best-before date indicated on the label does not mean the product cannot be used any longer.
6.However, in such cases, the quality of the product must be ensured, and the relevant properties of the product need to be rechecked.
7.During transportation, the container must be sealed properly, be protected from moisture, and avoid the mixing of strong acids, strong alkalis, and impurities such as rainwater.
