Main Industrial Application
1, Solvent: Chemical solvent: Diethylene glycol is an excellent solvent for many chemical substances and is widely used in industries such as coatings, inks, resins, oils and nitrocellulose. It has excellent solubility and can improve the stability and processing performance of the product.
2, Gas dehydration: As a gas dehydrating agent, diethylene glycol can effectively remove moisture from gases, ensuring the purity of gases in industrial processes. It is often used for the drying of natural gas and syngas.
3, Antifreeze: Diethylene glycol has a relatively low freezing point and can be used as an antifreeze in cooling systems, hydraulic systems and air conditioning systems to prevent freezing in low-temperature environments and ensure the normal operation of equipment.
