DEA/Diethanolamine ZX-C4-01 is mainly used as an absorber for acidic gases such as CO2, H2S and SO2, a nonionic surfactant, an emulsifier and a lubricant. It is an important corrosion inhibitor and can be used in boiler water treatment, coolant for automotive engines, drilling and cutting oils, as well as various other types of lubricating oils to play a role in corrosion inhibition. It is used as an emulsifier for oils and waxes under acidic conditions.

General

 

CO2 corrosion inhibitor ZX-C4-01 is a kind of film formation corrosion inhibitor, which is composed of home-grown composite pyridine quaternary ammonium salt as main ingredients, other synergist and surfactant. It can be applicable for high salinity saltwater system anti-corrosion the oilfield injection CO2 displacing oil technical process. By the process, high partial CO2 control carbon steel metal corrosion, and it has a protection for carbon steel metal corrosion caused by oil well produced water with high CO2 and chloride ion, carbonate ion high salinity. It has an excellent comprehensive performance and good protective effect in all of oil, gas, and water phase. Meanwhile, it can be able to inhibit corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement caused by H2S. And also, it has a good compatibility with other oilfield chemistry agent.

Application

 

Site Application

It is applicable for corrosion control under high partial pressure CO2 and high salinity saltwater system corrosion environment in the oilfield CO2 displacing oil technical process, as well as corrosion control for oilfield wastewater system with certain partial CO2.

 

Instructions

The concentration of corrosion inhibitor addition is 100mg/Lin the injection CO2 displacing oil technical process. But in the oil well produced water system, the concentration of CO2 corrosion inhibitor addition is 500mg/L. it has a better effect with cooperatively using de-oxidant in closed aerobic system. Dilute corrosion inhibitor 1-2 times by tap water and then use it.

Storage

CO2 corrosion inhibitor ZX-C4-01 should be stored in closed containers in a dry environment. The expiry date is 2 years from production date and can be extended for extra 1 year after a successful testing of the physical and chemical index.

Safety and handling

 

Skin Exposure:

In case of contact, immediately wash skin with soap and copious amounts of water. If irritation persists, call a physician.

Eye Exposure:

In case of contact with eyes, flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Assure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with fingers.

If irritation persists, call a physician.

Inhalation Exposure:

If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If necessary, give oxygen. Call a physician.

Oral Exposure:

If swallowed, immediately wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Call a physician.
