Our Paraffin dispersant for middle distillates ZX-P2-05 is designed to improve the cold flow properties of diesel fuels and other middle distillates, ensuring smooth flow even at low temperatures. This high-performance additive reduces fuel clogging, enhances fuel efficiency, and reduces engine wear in cold weather conditions.
The freezing point and cold filter point are important indicators characterizing the low-temperature performance of diesel. The freezing point (SP) is the highest temperature at which diesel loses its fluidity in a low-temperature environment. The cold filter point (CFPP) can indicate the highest temperature at which diesel passing through the fuel supply system of a diesel engine can cause the filter screen to clog. For light diesel oil, the cold filter point is more important than the pour point index in practical use. This is because the cold filter point is directly related to the low-temperature performance of diesel, while the freezing point is mainly related to the storage and transportation of diesel. Adding a very low concentration (below 1‰) of pour point depressant to diesel can significantly improve its low-temperature fluidity. The addition method is flexible and simple. Due to the small amount added, it will not change other performance indicators of diesel. Meanwhile, the unit production cost of diesel is much lower than that of other methods or approaches for reducing pour point and filtration rate.
Flow improver and pour point depressant for middle distillates ZX-P2-05 contains highly efficient anticoagulant factors, which can effectively lower the freezing point of diesel and prevent it from solidifying at low temperatures. It can usually lower the freezing point of diesel by 10℃to 20℃. Application
Performance and Application
When middle distillates are kept below their cloud point (CP), n-paraffins will crystallise out. Due to the higher density of these waxy crystals compared with the density of the liquid phase, the solid n-paraffins will precipitate. This results in an increase in the cloud point and the CFPP in the paraffin-rich phase. Paraffin dispersant for middle distillates ZX-P2-05 acts as a paraffin dispersant by reducing the size of the waxy crystals and by electrostatic effects.
Paraffin dispersant for middle distillates ZX-P2-05 is added to the middle distillates at addition rates of 100 - 500 ppm. The actual injection rate depends on the composition of the middle distillate and is characterized by the cloud point, the boiling range, the type and the amount of paraffins, and other parameters.
Paraffin dispersant for middle distillates ZX-P2-05 has to be used additionally to regular middle distillate flow improvers. Paraffin dispersant for middle distillates ZX-P2-05 is injected directly into the stream of a middle distillate either undiluted or in the from of a stock solution. . A mixing section of adequate length in the pipelines is required.
Lines through which undiluted Paraffin dispersant for middle distillates ZX-P2-05 is pumped should be heated to 30-40 ℃, and the temperature of the middle distillate to be doped should be about 30-35℃.
In lab tests, adding 0.5% of our Paraffin dispersant for middle distillates ZX-P2-05 to diesel fuel resulted in a 20% improvement in cold flow properties and a 10% reduction in fuel consumption. This has been validated in various industrial applications, demonstrating its efficiency and reliability.
After using this flow improver, our diesel fuel performance has significantly improved in low temperatures. Fuel flow is smoother, and engine wear has been reduced. Highly recommend this product!
Storage and handling
Paraffin dispersant for middle distillates ZX-P2-05 can be stored at least for 1 year. The storage temperature should be above 20 ℃ but not exceed 50℃. Short-term exposure to temperature up to 70℃ will not affect the performance of the product.
