General information
Cold flow improving agent ZX-P3-11 concentrate is a concentrate polymer composition in a hydrocarbon solvent. It is intended for improving the cold flow properties of middle distillates. Both the CFPP and pour point of diesel and light heating oils can be considerably reduced.
Our Concentrated Flow Improver for Middle Distillates ZX-P3-11 is engineered to ensure reliable diesel fuel performance, even in extreme cold conditions. This additive prevents fuel gelling and paraffin wax formation in middle distillates, improving fluidity in storage tanks, pipelines, and engines. Ideal for use in both cold climates and winter fuel preparations.
In independent tests, our product showed a 40% improvement in low-temperature fluidity, allowing diesel fuel to remain operational at temperatures as low as -20°C.

Application
Field of Application
This concentrated flow improver is ideal for diesel fuels, middle distillates, and petroleum products used in cold-weather operations, including storage tanks, pipelines, and fuel injection systems.
For optimal results, add 1-2% of the concentrated flow improver to diesel fuel before use. For large-scale applications, consult with our technical support team for dosage recommendations.
A major European fuel distributor reported a 25% reduction in maintenance costs and increased system reliability after using our concentrated flow improver for winterizing their diesel fuel.
Compared to standard flow improvers, our concentrated formula provides 50% longer-lasting protection against fuel gelling, reducing the need for frequent treatment and enhancing diesel fuel efficiency.
Cold flow improving agent ZX-P3-11 is suitable for both summer and winter oils. It is particularly intended for both middle distillates having a narrow boiling range characterized by a (90-20%)-△T value of 80-100℃ and a (FBP-90%)-△T of 17-25℃, and in wider distillates where the (90-20%-△T value is 100-120℃ and the FBP is below 380℃ (ASTM D 86 distillation).
Dosage Rate
According to the characteristics of the particular middle distillate 25-500ppm is usually sufficient to achieve the desired CFPP/PP response. It may be considered for use as supplied or diluted. Generally it is intended to be used as a blend component in more complex formulations. The dosage rates required are very dependant on the characteristics of the middle distillate to be treated.
Blending temperature
Cold flow improving agent ZX-P3-11 concentrate can be undiluted at gas oil temperatures down to around 40℃. At lower temperatures, a dilution with naphtha or kerosene (ratio 1:1 to 1:3) is recommended. The middle distillate should be at least 10℃ above its cloud point at the time of additive injection.
Storage
A temperature of 50-60℃ (100-125℉)is recommended for storing the product. In closed containers Cold flow improving agent ZX-P3-11 concentrate may be stored for at least two years.
Note: On bringing a tank back into service after prolonged storage at lower temperatures, the additive should first be heated and omogenized before use.
Packaging
The product is delivered in a Heated road tanker/tank container or 200L steel drums, or per clients' requests.
Safety and handling
The product is intended for technical use only. Avoid physical contact. Use gloves and goggles for protection. During transportation in road tankers the product is heated to temperatures up to 80℃ (175℉) may cause burns if spilled on the skin. Materials spilled on the skin should be washed off with soap and plenty of water. If splashed in the eye rinse with copious quantities of water.
Keep containers closed when not in use. Avoid contact with water. Keep away from sparks and open flame. Do not smoke. Empty containers may hold gases that form explosive mixtures with air.
Consult the Safety Data Sheet for further details.
