Antioxidant 264 ZX-RF-10 with the chemical name 2, 6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol (BHT), is a general-purpose phenolic antioxidant. It delays the oxidative degradation of materials such as plastics and rubber by inhibiting their thermal and oxidative aging, thereby extending their service life. The molecular formula of this chemical is C15H24O. It appears as white or light yellow crystals, with a melting point of approximately 70℃. It is readily soluble in organic solvents but poorly soluble in water. Its main application fields cover stabilizers for synthetic rubbers (such as styrene-butadiene, butadiene, etc.), polyethylene, and polyvinyl chloride, antioxidant additives for lubricating oils and fuel oils, as well as in the food industry to delay the rancidity of oils and fats.
Antioxidization Agent 264 ZX-RF-10 is an excellent general purpose phenolic antioxidant, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic white crystal, melting point 69-71℃, insoluble in water and dilute alkali, dissolved in benzene, toluene, ethanol, gasoline and food oil, its solubility is: Ethanol 25% (20℃), soybean oil 30% (25℃), cottonseed oil 20% (25℃), lard 40% (40℃). It is an excellent antioxidant additive for various petroleum products, widely used in various lubricants, gasoline, paraffin and various raw oil to prevent the acid value or viscosity of lubricating oil and fuel oil from rising.

1, Antioxidization Agent 264 ZX-RF-10 can prevent the rise of the acid value or viscosity of lubricating oil and fuel oil as well diesel.
2, Antioxidization Agent 264 ZX-RF-10 is also a stabilizer of synthetic rubber, polyethylene, polyfluoroethylene. Antioxidant is a phenolic antioxidant in rubber. Antioxidant has a protective effect on natural rubber, butyl-butyl, butadiene, isoamyl, butadiene, ethylene propylene and other synthetic rubber, acrylic ester and latex products. Antioxidant can inhibit copper damage, and anti-ozone and wax can prevent various factors of climate damage to vulcanizate. The product is easily dispersed in rubber, and the antioxidant can be directly mixed into rubber or added to latex as a dispersion. Can be used in the manufacture of tire sidewalls, white, brilliant and transparent color of all kinds of rubber and dairy products and daily, medical health, rubber cloth, rubber shoes and edible oil rubber products, antioxidants can also be used as a stabilizer for synthetic rubber post-treatment and storage.
3, Antioxidization Agent 264 ZX-RF-10 as food additives can delay the rancidity of food. Antioxidants are used in animal and vegetable oils and in foods containing animal and vegetable oils.
