Gasoline MMT Type B ZX-RF-08-B is a high performance gasoline octane value improver of the type of methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl. It is a compound with gasoline antiknock properties and can effectively enhance the gasoline oactane number and greatly reduce the harmful discharge from automobile exhaust emissions such as NOx, CO, and HC.

Application
Machanism Product characteristic
Gasoline MMT Type B ZX-RF-08-B is decomposed to form active manganese oxides in combustion process. Its surface reaction causes declining peroxide concentration which have already established in the engine combustion chamber at the front of flame and selectively cuts off some free-radical chain reaction. Hence it inhibits the automated ignition and slows the velocity of the energy release so as to improve its antiknock ability.
Characteristic
Gasoline MMT Type B ZX-RF-08-B can effectively match with MTBE and ethanol to enhance the gasoline octane number. It can solve the trouble of insufficient vehicle dynamic power due to overdosing MTBE.
Dosage Rate
The dosage is about 100g/Mt Gasoline MMT Type B ZX-RF-08-B added in gasoline. The exact treat rate should be confirmed by testing. If diluted Gasoline MMT Type B ZX-RF-08-B, the dose is accordingly added.
Using instruction
Gasoline MMT Type B ZX-RF-08-B (MMT) should be diluted and then added to gasoline. The MMT and special additives are added into the solvent (such as toluene, mixed xylene, ethanol, solvent oil, gasoline, etc.) at the same time. Under N2 protection, the mixture should be stirred for 30 minutes till fully dissolved to the final MMT solution, and then be added into gasoline in proportion.
High-concentration MMT products (like ZX-RF-08-A) can be directly transferred into the gasoline in proportion. Handling and blending temperature is - 25℃ to -50℃.

Storage
Gasoline MMT Type B ZX-RF-08-B should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse to keep it away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. Its shelf life is one year. Keep containers tightly closed and store it with inert gas(i.e. nitrogen) if it is not used. As Gasoline MMT Type B ZX-RF-08-B is light sensitive to be decomposed if it is exposed to sunshine, its samples or its gasoline samples shall be kept in brown container.
Safety and handling
Away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. Avoid violent impact and collision. Gasoline MMT Type B ZX-RF-08-B shall not be directly contacted with eye and skin, or inhaled and ingested because it belongs to toxic category. For further information, see the Product MSDS.
