Beyond ZX-L4-01 Lubricant Viscosity Modifier (Viscosity Index Improver) is a premium star Viscosity Modifier concentrate, made from a hydrogenated styrene-diene based solid, Beyond Lubricant Viscosity Modifier (Viscosity Index Improver) ZX-L4-02 (solid format). Performance

 

Beyond Lubricant Viscosity Modifier (Viscosity Index Improver) ZX-L4-01 has super shear stability performance, low temperature performance, optimal contribution to high temperature viscosity, as well as improved fuel economy performance when dissolved in API Group III oil, particularly when used with Beyond DI package technology to formulate lubricants.

Handling/Precautions

Localized high temperatures should be avoided during heating, especially when product cannot be agitated. Electrical, steam or hot oil heating systems with a self-limiting maximum temperature not exceeding 120℃/250℉ (e.g. low pressure steam at 2 bar or 3 psig) are recommended. For safety reasons free water mu be avoided when product is handled above 95℃. Free water is always detrimental to product quality.

Safety and handling

 

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when responding to spills. Avoid generation of dust. Take precautionary measures against static discharges, earth/ ground all equipment. Do not breathe dust. Use local exhaust over processing area. Considering the risks of electrostatic discharges handling the products in potentially flammable atmospheres should be evaluated carefully. Suitable precautions should be taken at all times especially when emptying bags or other packaging.
