General Description
Gasoline antioxidant ZX-L5-02 is an organic compound additive used to inhibit the oxidation of gasoline to form gum. Its function is to reduce the formation of gum and sediment during storage and transportation by suppressing the oxidation polymerization reaction of unsaturated olefins such as dienes and styrene in gasoline. National standards stipulate that the actual gum content of every 100 milliliters of gasoline should not exceed 5 milligrams, and the addition amount of antioxidants is usually 200μg/g to improve the stability of gasoline.

Application
Site application
ZX-L5-02 Gasoline Antioxidant and Antigum Agent is a high-performance fuel additive that prevents gum formation and enhances the stability of gasoline. It works by inhibiting oxidation, improving fuel quality, and reducing carbon deposits in engines, ensuring smoother engine operation and longer engine life.
Reduces gum formation by up to 35%. Improves fuel stability by up to 50%. Suitable for gasoline stored for up to 12 months. Works in temperatures as low as -20°C.
Since using ZX Gasoline Antioxidant and Antigum Agent, our vehicles experience better fuel efficiency and smoother engine performance. This product has become an essential additive in our fleet.
Key Principles and Performance
To meet the requirements of refineries for gasoline quality control, our company has leveraged strong R&D capabilities and extensive experimentation. Following the successful development of the ZX-L5-02A Gasoline Stability Improver, we have now introduced the new ZX-L5-02B Liquid Gasoline Antioxidant.
Key Principles and Performance
Gasoline Antioxidant ZX-L5-02B is a pure liquid mixture of resins and phenols, free of insoluble substances, and exhibits excellent compatibility with fuels. It combines the properties of primary antioxidants with auxiliary antioxidant effects, enabling synergistic resistance against free radicals.
Gasoline Antioxidant ZX-L5-02B offers excellent low-temperature fluidity, with a pour point below -25°C, making it suitable for use even in cold winters. It forms chelates with metal ions, inhibiting their catalytic oxidation effects on fuels. Its ability to improve the induction period of blended fuels is 2–4 times higher than that of T-501.
While conventional antioxidants only stabilize fuels during low-temperature storage and use, they fail to address high-temperature combustion deposits. The **ZX-L5-02B** additionally provides anti-fouling, deposit prevention, and cleaning-dispersing effects. It effectively disperses lacquer, sludge, and carbon deposits formed in engine vaporizers, fuel injectors, intake valves, and combustion chambers into the fuel medium. These deposits are then fully combusted and expelled through the exhaust, reducing engine power loss and tailpipe pollution.
Characteristics
1. Rapid induction period enhancement via chemical gum inhibition, with low dosage and high stability.
2. Oil-soluble formulation for simple processing, easy injection, and no pipeline clogging.
3. No adverse effects on other fuel quality indicators.
Applications
Gasoline Antioxidant ZX-L5-02B is suitable for gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and lubricants. Recommended dosage: 10–100 ppm in fuels.
Storage and Packaging
1. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, with fire prevention and sun protection.
2. Packaged in iron drums, net weight 180 kg per drum.
3. The storage period of this product is two years.
