Crude oil pour point depressants ZX-P4-11 EVA-based type is designed to reduce the pour point and viscosity of crude oils during the delivery in pipelines. This product can be described as EVA polymer in organic solvent.
Application of Crude oil pour point depressants ZX-P4-11 will reduce problems associated with pipeline transport due to high pour point and viscosity of the crude oil being carried, making pipeline transport possible or more economical.

Application
Normally, wax crude oils with wax content above 5% are sensitive to Crude oil pour point depressants ZX-P4-11. Heating facility is usually required to heat the oil dosed with Crude oil pour point depressants ZX-P4-11 product to a certain temperature called treatment or beneficiary temperature, generally 10C above WAT (Wax Appearance Temperature). This is done to re-dissolve wax crystals, if there are, in the oil, then Crude oil pour point depressants ZX-P4-11 molecules will be given chances to co- crystallize with the wax crystals, which re-precipitate from the oil. Wax crystals crystallized with Crude oil pour point depressants ZX-P4-11 product will form in a weaker or looser structure resulting in reduction in pour point and viscosity of the crude oils.
Crude oil pour point depressants ZX-P4-11 should be injected continuously. Usually a dosage of 500 to 15000 ppm is sufficient.
Storage and Handling
Crude oil pour point depressants ZX-P4-11 will be stable and keep its potency for three years if stored in ventilated, dry place with temperature range -10C ~ +50C in the tightly sealed container.
Standard pumps and mild steel containers can be used for injection. Notes the pump seal must be resistant to aromatic solvents.
When handing Crude oil pour point depressants, protective gloves and protective work clothing should be worn.
After skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water and rinse thoroughly. If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.
After eye contact, the opened eye should be rinsed for 15 minutes under running water, after a doctor has to be consulted.
