General

A water-reducing agent called Polycarboxylate water reducer ZX-SC-05 is a type of concrete admixture that can reduce the amount of water used for mixing while maintaining the slump of concrete basically unchanged. Most of them belong to anionic surfactants, including lignosulfonate, naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde polymer, etc. After being added to the concrete mixture, it has a dispersing effect on cement particles, which can improve its workability, reduce the unit water consumption, and enhance the fluidity of the concrete mixture.
Or reduce the unit cement usage to save cement.
Polycarboxylate water reducer ZX-SC-05 is the latest high-performance water reducing agent developed by our company in 2005. It does not contain harmful substances such as formaldehyde and chloride ions and is currently the most popular environmentally friendly concrete admixture in China. This product has stable performance. It does not stratify or precipitate during long-term storage and does not crystallize in winter. It is particularly suitable for preparing high-durability, high flowability, high-strength pumped concrete and fair-faced concrete projects with high requirements for appearance quality

Application

 

1. Low dosage and high water reduction rate. The dosage is usually 0.5% to 1.2% of the amount of cementitious materials used, and the water reduction rate can reach over 25%. When  preparing C50 commercial concrete, the recommended dosage is 1.0%.
2. It has good compatibility with cement, admixtures and other additives. The slump of concrete remains basically unchanged within 2 to 3 hours and is almost unaffected by temperature changes.
3. Concrete has good cohesion, does not segregate, does not bleed water, and is convenient for pumping construction.
4. There are no bleeding water lines, no large bubbles, small color differences on the concrete surface, and the appearance quality of the concrete is good.
5. It has a very wide range of applications and can be used to prepare concrete with different performance requirements, especially suitable for high-performance concrete from C20 to C100.
6. It can effectively control the early hydration of cement in concrete and is suitable for preparing large-volume concrete, especially for preparing concrete with high dosages of fly ash and slag. Under normal temperature conditions, the setting time of concrete is related to the molecular structure of the water-reducing agent and the mineral properties of the cement. The influence range on the initial setting and final setting is -30 to +60 minutes.
7. It has a certain shrinkage reduction effect. The 28-day shrinkage rate is reduced by more than 20% compared with naphthalene-based high-efficiency water reducers. Compared with blank standard concrete, the shrinkage rate of concrete is less than 100%.
8. Compared with blank concrete, the 3-day compressive strength is increased by 50% to 100%, the 28-day compressive strength by 40% to 80%, and the 90-day compressive strength by 30% to 50%.
9. It has a slight air-entraining effect. The air content of concrete mixed with this water-reducing agent is generally within the range of 2.0% to 3.0%. Its freeze-thaw resistance and carbonation resistance are significantly improved compared with ordinary concrete. It is suitable for
preparing concrete projects with high durability and high requirements for appearance quality
Usage method
1. The dosage (by weight) is 0.5% to 1.2% of the amount of cementitious materials used. When preparing high-flowability concrete of C60 or above, the dosage can be increased to more than 1.2%.
2. This product must not be compounded with naphthalene-based water reducers. When used simultaneously with other admixture varieties (such as retarders, rust inhibitors, etc.), concrete compatibility tests should be conducted in advance.
2. Curing: After the concrete has finally set, covering and moisture retention curing should be initiated immediately. Surface protection measures should be taken during winter construction to prevent frost damage to the concrete surface.
 
Package Storage
This product is packed in plastic drums or in bulk by tank trucks and has a validity period of one year. If it exceeds the expiration date, it can still be used after passing the inspection.
