First, there are several gas station gasoline labels
When we go to the gas station to refuel, we usually tell the staff how many oil we want to add, the number of oil here refers to the gasoline label, the domestic gasoline label is mainly 92, 95 and 98 three kinds, and some places also provide 89, 100 gasoline.
Different grades of gasoline mainly represent different octane numbers, and the higher the grade, the higher the octane number, the better the antiknock of gasoline.
Second, what is the difference between the level of gasoline label
When refueling, the gasoline label is different, the main difference is:
1, octane number is different
The number of gasoline represents its octane number content, 89 gasoline contains 89% isoctane; Gasoline 92 contains 92% isooctane; 95 gasoline contains 95% isooctane; Gasoline 98 contains 98% isooctane.

2, the antiknock is different
The higher the gasoline label, the higher the isooctane content, and the stronger the knock resistance.
3, applicable compression ratio is different
Different gasoline models corresponding to the car compression ratio requirements are not the same, the higher the engine compression ratio, the higher the required gasoline model. Generally, the engine with a compression ratio of more than 8.0 should choose No. 92 gasoline; Engines with a compression ratio of more than 9.0 should use No. 95 gasoline; Engines with a compression ratio of 10.0 or more should use No. 98 gasoline.
4. Different models are applicable
No. 92 gasoline is suitable for ordinary cars with low technical content, No. 95 gasoline is suitable for most cars, and No. 98 gasoline is suitable for luxury cars and sports cars.
5. The price is different
The higher the gasoline label, the more expensive it is.
Third, the higher the gasoline label, the better
Some friends think that the gasoline label is high, the price is expensive, and the quality will be better, thinking that the higher the gasoline label, the better, in fact, this is not the case.
In general, when refueling, mainly according to the model to choose the appropriate label of gasoline, not the higher the better, not the lower the better:
1, add a high grade of oil, the power will not actually be enhanced. Because the engine compression ratio is constant, there is no way to make the volume of compressed gas smaller, so the high knock resistance of the high-grade oil has not been played, and there may be incomplete combustion phenomenon, so it is greatly unnecessary to add 97# of the car to the oil, not only not imagined good, but also a waste of money.
2, add a low label of oil, there will be insufficient engine power phenomenon. When the gasoline label is too low, the compressed mixture of oil and gas will spontaneously ignite before ignition, when the oil and gas that has begun to spontaneously ignite will produce a strong explosion, so that the original accurately designed combustion program is out of control, some gasoline does negative work, and some can not be completely burned because the combustion process is not synchronized with the piston stroke, resulting in serious carbon accumulation in the intake valve and cylinder, increasing fuel consumption and bad exhaust gas.
Therefore, we should choose the appropriate gasoline label according to the need, generally do not know, you can find on the driving manual.
