Imidazoline corrosion inhibitors are very important, so what is the process of preparation? Below, the editor will tell you.
(1) Heating up has its own method. Mixing organic acids with excess amines, heating the reaction, and free dehydration. To prevent the formation of diamines, ammonia gas is usually introduced as a protective gas.
(2) Vacuum dehydration method: Under relatively low pressure and strong pressure, the reactants in the reactor are mixed in a certain proportion, heated for reaction, and subjected to a dehydration process. Then, the temperature is programmed to rise, and the remaining water is removed by depressurization.
(3) Solvent dehydration method: Under normal pressure, benzene, toluene, xylene, and other water carriers are used for the first dehydration. The water carrier and the water generated by the reaction reach azeotrope, continuously removing the water from the reactor and moving towards the direction of the generated product in equilibrium. After one dehydration at atmospheric pressure, the second dehydration cyclization is carried out by continuing to heat up under reduced pressure conditions, with a focus on determining the reaction yield.
